96_Bassblog 04: Back to the word of the day (see blog 01)
My brother Jason Elkins launched his online ‘zine, Transparent Christian Magazine, which is a venue for all of us to talk about our “walk”, whatever it may be. In addition to posting thoughtful, relevant content, TCM has attracted some great contributors and quite a buzz on the ‘Net.Jason is now using TCM as a launching pad for some other projects he’s been developing (he is a true “idea man”), and one of the first is the Transparent Concert Series: Show Your Soul. The Anna Ross Project is excited to be playing the first show in the series, which is presented in support of Faces of Hope, a Sumner County, TN-based charity for autistic and special needs children and their families.
If you are, or can be near Hendersonville on 4/4/08, come out and participate in this wonderful event. They are collecting a $10 donation at the door for Faces of Hope and there will also be a silent auction. Refreshments will be available, and the music (also featuring Brandon Frazier, Brad Reynolds, and David Teems) will be top notch. Click here for map.
Be free,
Jeff

Dear Jeff, Got to see your lovely mom at Grandma Elsa’s. I am so proud of you, I could burst. I am a card carrying member of the Kentuckians of Michigan and thrive on the Blue Grass and old-timey music, not to mention the fellowship. It’s kinda like church, though I do notice some clear liquid getting passed around in a mason jar.
Love, Aunt Kyna
