Jeff’s musical experience spans listening to his father play Bob Dylan and Bill Monroe songs, stints in musical theater and various stage and garage bands, and a tour of Scandinavia with a jazz band before he graduated high school. He eventually returned to bluegrass and folk music, which finally led him from Michigan to Middle Tennessee in 1992. He’s played numerous stringed instruments on both coasts and in a number foreign countries (including New Mexico), and has recently fallen back in love with the bass. Other things Jeff loves are his five dogs, three children, and his wife Dana (not necessarily in that order).
